1987 FC Recommended Mods

Hey guys, since tax return is right around the corner I decided to get the rx7 back on its feet. Going through ebay I'm looking for inexpensive mods. My car has a history of over heating and leaking oil. So here's what I've come up with so far
16 row universal oil cooler kit
3 row 56mm aluminum radiator
VMS 10.2mm spark wires/NGK Platinum plugs kit
Walbro 255lph fuel pump

Definitely get an OEM Thermostat. Stant sucks.

Get a fuel filter and do other basic maintenance such as coolant flush and tranny fluid replacement etc.

always do basic maintenance. My 89 T2 has not run since 2006. I dumped all fuel from tank. I put a new fuel pump in with a new fuel filter. I changed all oils and filter that included the tranny gear oil and the rear diff. I changed all the belts and made sure all electrical lines was cleaned and if any fuses needed to be cleaned and made sure they had good connections. I changed all spark plugs and wires. Also check all your vacuum lines too!!!! This all takes time and money. make sure you don't rush it. You rush it and things happen that you don't want to happen. good luck bro
