Changed an engine in my 86 rx7 (which was totally original). After installing the new engine, the RPM reads half what it should. Secondary injectors open up with tach reading 1750 rather than 3500. Have I left something disconnected which causes the inaccurate tach reading? The car also does not idle until fully warmed up. Could these be related??
