I own a 1986 rx7 fc3s and I keep getting a beep for what I think is my power steering fluid levels. the wheel gets really heavy when it beeps. I for the life of me can't find the area in the engine bay where the power steering would even be. I have pictures :






Do I even have power steering? If so where on Earth is it?

 

the p/s pump is mounted under the a/c compressor.

 

* directly above the AC Compressor.

In your first photo, you can see it on the bottom left side of the frame.

If you are looking straight at your engine from the front of the car, it is the pump on the front on your right hand side. There is a plastic dipstick that will allow you to check the fluid level.

How many beeps are you getting? The error codes are in the FAQ for this section.

 

well damn, my bad. i always thought it was below it. but then again, i've never owned an FC. my apologies for the misinformation.
