1985 beehive oil cooler

i recently replaced the o-rings underneath my beehive oil cooler on my 1985 RX-7 G model ...... everything went well but i wondered what failure modes this beehive cooler has .......
has anyone every seen a major failure of the beehive oil cooler ??? ....... like oil leaks into the coolant or coolant leaks into the oil .......
thanks,
-ds

You have just experienced the main failure mode; o-rings.

But primarily, the beehive's greatest failure is that it doesn't work well.
