1984 rx7 fb wont crank
Before this issue arose, I had the engine flooded and deflooded it succesfully. I made sure to Idle the car to reach temp and ensure it wont get flooded again. After idling for about 15-20 minutes, I ran out of fuel causing the engine to stop running. I tried turning over the engine the same night and it cranked perfectly fine.
Fast forward a few days, I had the time to fill up the car and was ready to take it somewhere, when I tried turning on the car it wouldnt crank anymore. Bare in mind, I havent touched the car since deflooding it. As of now, im unsure if the weather plays a role or not as its quite cold at the moment.
When turning on the car all the lights/dash etc work perfectly fine. The dash does dim when trying to crank and the fuel gauge does go down.
Things I tested and/or have done to see if it was the route of the problem:
- Fully Charged the Battery & seems to be no loose ground
- Checked & switched out main fusible link
- Fuel Pump seems to be working fine
I tried to provide as much information as I can and any help would be appreciated.
