Hey there everyone, have a 1983 rx7 with a freshly rebuilt 12a in it that has 3k miles on it, a new to the car 5 speed tranny, and it’s ported. the problem i’m having is with the rear diff, one of my teeth on the gears back there broke. it’s the same rear diff that was in the car when it was automatic, i don’t know if that matters. anyways, i need to find where i can buy the parts, or find anyone who has a complete rear diff for sale. please let me know, very new to ownership. thank you

Also, you will.need to know if you have the large bearing or small bearing axle shafts. If I remember correctly, 83 was a split year when the early cars had the small bearing rear ends and the later cars had the larger bearing rear end.

 

I'm not sure about axle size, but pinion flange was larger on 1983's
