Moving Car with no Diff

This is probably an easy question but I wanted to make sure before doing it. I have removed/reinstalled many rear subframes but I am needing to move the car now.

I have the entire rear subrame out right now. So, Would I be able to just put the subframe back in with everything except the rear diff/halfshafts just to move the car?

Thanks

wouldn't it be easier to just lower the car on something that rolls but could support the weight instead??
