13B TII wiring

I am a new menber and hjave done a lot of reading. I have gotten myself over my head with wireing. I am wireing a lotus 7 with a 13b TII but the wireing harness is giving me problems. I was wondering if anyone knows were I could take it to get cutdown.

What problems are you having?

Generally when I do a swap to another engine I simplify the harness to the point where it only connects to the AFM, injectors, TPS, IAT, CLT, variable resistor, pressure sensor, etc. All emissions stuff disappears. Then I create a harness for the coils and CAS. Ultimately the only connections to the car that this harness has is a 12V and ground.

The problem I have right now is that I have no spark. I checked the CAS and the coils they both seemed fine. I want to cutdown the harness like that but I don't know how, if you know were I can get a step by step or anyone that can do it for me please let me know.

thanks

There is no real step by step for this.

The CAS and coil harness is part of the body harness. I assume you replicated it? Did you use shielded cable for the CAS and ground only at the ECU end?

Does the ECU have power? Do the coils have power?

no I have all the original wiring from the rx7 that I pulled the motor out of so everything should be stock as of right now. and the black and yellow wires going to the coils have 12V when the ignition is on I don't know how to check the ecu for power.

Grab a copy of the FSM from the 2nd gen FAQ and look up the wiring diagram for your year. As I recall, the ECU receives power from a different source then the coils.

Did you grab all the relays and stuff and then just transfer to the locost?
It would help if you list how you have this set up.
