Question Pre-installation

So I had another post here stating my situation with my '91 FC, and how I will be putting the engine back in soon when Im able to...

I was wondering if anyone knew of any options for performance mods before I install the engine. Just something simple and would make a difference down the road, as opposed to not doing anything and proceeding with the installation.

I already have a good clutch, but not sure where else to go..

Im already planning on painting the firewall and inside fenderwells for a nicer look under the hood.

I want to make this into a budget spec, but I keep wanting to drop the stack and go all out

Get the engine back in the car and make sure everything is working correctly. Then you can modify if you want. If you make modifications now it just makes troubleshooting more difficult.

But there's really nothing you can do to the engine itself anyway. Exhaust, intake, etc. are the big power adders.

I see..

So the basic add-ons are the best route?

I knew I loved these things for a reason... haha
