13b NA wont start, a little weird
hey guys, i have a 91 gxl , and it has a 13b na , racing beat header , and from what i was told has a jegs computer?
anyways, i got the car from a friend, not running of course, but heres the thing, it will turn over when the mass air flow sensor is plugged in, and wont start, but if its not plugged in it will idle, but idle crappy.. he replaced the sensor, and had the same issue.. what could this be?
also, its missing the test pipe section of the exhaust, and doesnt have the o2 sensor.. could this be the reason?
once again, im not good with rotarys because im new to them, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you unplug the air flow sensor the ECU will run in limp mode, this is why you get the rough idle.
Not having the O2-sensor installed with a stock or modified stock ECU will not work. Maybe in limp mode the ECU will ignore the missing O2-sensor and that's why the engine runs in this case.
So first get the O2-sensor installed and if that doesn't solve the problem we'll have another look at the air flow sensor and harness.
