UT 12a GSL FB; how to drive the vehicle.

I just bought an 85 rebuilt with 10k miles. No problems although the alternator has a bad bearing just last night. Gonna fix that soon before the pulley seizes. What is an acceptable fashion to drive such a car? I often take it up to 7k rpm or even till I hear the beep and immediately switch gears. I often cruise at 3k rpm in residential areas in 2nd. I don’t want to strain the drive train? Any tips on experience with it would be much appreciated. I watch the oil level daily.

rotaries love to rev. so the old saying is, "drive it like you stole it". but really, there's no special way to drive an rx7 than any other vehicle.

With the only caveat being don't turn off the engine until it comes up to full operating temperature.
