PA Wilkes ASME Car Show 2013, April 21st

This year Wilkes University ASME Club will be hosting its annual car show on Sunday, April 21. The show will run from 11-3 with registration beginning pretty much any time after 830/9. Entry fee is $10 and we will have a Dyno that is only $35 for 2 pulls with printouts. I have attached this years show flyer for more details and you can contact me through this thread or by PM is needed.

New to this years event is our association with the Wounded Warrior Project. We saw an opprotunity to do something better with our event rather than just run it for fun so we thought hard and decided to run the event to support a great charity.

A new sponsor for this year's event is Ian's Speed Shop. For those in the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area that have not heard of him, you should look him up. He knows his way around just about any type of car and is a custom fabricator.

Hmm, might have to attend this. 35 bucks for two pulls in the dyno is great. Would be cool if we could get a couple guys on here and have our own RX7/RX7 club section.

Great to see some interest. I will get some pictures up from last years show when I find my flash drive, had a turn out of around 140 cars on the rain date which isnt bad at all.

I may or may not have my 7 there, it will look like hell if it is there.

The original flyer I posted didnt list the Tuner awards. There will be a top 15 Tuner/Import at our show. Please post this flyer to other forums you guys are on, this show means a lot to me and I like to see it succeed every year.

Do you have to be registered as a car show participant for the dyno pulls? My car is not a show car by any stretch of the imagination lol, it was built to drift. I mean its taken care of and all one color so to register would nt be all that crazy I guess. I just know how these "show" cars are and this is nt one of them lol

I forget how we did it 2 years ago when the dyno was there, whether you had to be registered or not. Don't think your car has to be perfect to be appreciated at our show. We get some of everything here. Last year someone brought their gutted sc300 drift car and that thing got a ton of attention, dents and all.

Ill get back to you on this though.

I completely understand, my car has been under construction for the past 3 years. I thought it would make this years show but then I pulled the front harness. If you happen to be in the area come by as a spectator.
