ok guys i rebuilt my trans and all the gears work fine, but when the car is in reverse the car goes foward instead of going backwards, any ideas? Help me out please!

this may sound incredibly stupid but you know reverse is bottom right (6 gear spot) right?

just first thing i thought of... if youre coming from a german car... otherwise backwards gear(even though i doubt thats even possible)? who did the rebuild?

 

yeah i know but im getting fixed by a pr drag racer el maniatico racing for cheap but im gonna use a gtu trans untill its fixed

Actually a good person to ask might be titaniumtt. He comes to the tuesday meets once in a while. Send him a PM. He doesn't seem very approchable but is actually a pretty nice guy.

 

thats impossible, you would have had to **** up so bad and cross every single shift fork in the trans, and even then it shouldnt shift wrong it wouldnt shift at all, hell it probably wouldnt even close
