What to do in Hartford, CT???
I am going to be sent on business to Hartford,CT for a week sometime in the next couple of months. Im trying to research online what there is to do there but am only getting things that arent too exciting. Ill be at the TRUMPH training facilities if you guys know what that is. What is there to do that a 20something year old would enjoy? I really dont want to spend all my time in museums. Thanks

Nurse I need 1300cc's NOW
i think the trumph building is in farmington. My old town. Ct is fairly boring. What do you like to do ?. I mean if you like the club scene you can alway try hartford. If you like golf there are plenty of courses. On Fri and sat there is a nice car scene in berlin. Go karts or something .. There is things to do you jusy have to know where to look or what you want.

well, Im sure Ill have a rental to my disposal and driving up to 50 miles isnt a big deal to me since I do live in LA, CA. Im not going to do the club scene. Other than the fact that Ive been to the clubs in Miami/LA I dont think CT will have anything I would consider fun to go to, Ill be by myself so Ill stay away from that whole scene. Something "safe" to do alone for a chick.
I know the general area is Hartford, but it might be in Farmington? I dont know too much detail yet. I just dont want to stay in the hotel watching movies the whole time Im there. I havent seen much of the northeast. Im actually considering driving to NYC if I can.

You picked a pretty boring spot to go! Depending on your timing and what mode of travel, thee are a few things to do. Keep me posted on your arival date and I can let you know the "current events". I don't do the club scene either but I do know a bunch of other fun things to do!

Should be great the Whalers just one the Stanley Cup! Oh wait, they moved to Carolina and then one it. I guess there is not much to do. You could go to the south end and get shot at. If your in on late August early September you go to a UConn game at the new stadium. Check the concert schedule at the Meadows or the Civic Center? Your a 2 hour drive to NYC and 3 to Boston.

yeah, def. stay away from the north end...if you're into gambling, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods are about 45 minutes away...other than that and the other stuff everyone else said, theres always Denny's...sad to say...

if you drive past mike & tony's garage, u shouldnt b in that whole area,,,
hit up the pike on the weekend nights, hang out with some of us on the boards, we can go there to chill in a parkin lot prob dunkin dougnuts when we do go,,on sundays, there's auto-x also, and limerock events too as kahren said, drift events are held every now and then, they're more frequent now,

come on up to worcester. plenty to do on a friday or saturday night. not as bad as hartford either from what i hear. IMO, if you were to get mugged, you would have to be trying really hard. there are some really nice cars up here too. http://www.ner.org/Solo/06/06schedule.htm. if you're into autocross, there are the dates.
