looks to me like most of the rotary meets are upstate, nj or some here else but the city, i live in bk and it would be great if there was a nyc meet, anually or monthly w.e it is im deff down to go faithfully

in the spring/summer... people get there later and later though. it's probably around 10pm now(?)

 

this needs to be addressed, I know I have not been going because I cant be getting home at 2am and getting up for work at 6, too old for that ****

 

Yeah sometimes I would show up at 9:00 and had to chill with the pigeons untill 10:30 when guys would show.... Call me old but I can't do that late stuff anymore. I say 8:00pm would be ideal.

Its about a month and a half. And yeah we should probably make it alittle earlier this year. And yes I know I'm one of the main culprits of lateness.

I'm over by kings plaza in Marine Park. It would be nice to have someone else from bklyn at the meets...it is a long lonely ride home from edgewater NJ at 1am on a thursday night in a 35 year old car...lol...u still down???? So true bwahahaha , but then again I can't make most of these meets due to the schedule of the meet... I wish it was on the sat night weekends, we should plan out something this year

 

a weekly sat night meet is not a good idea, people want to be doing better things on a saturday

 

How do I find out when those meets in Flushing Meadow are?

 

The meets should be done during the day, how else can you see the cars.

 

Astoria park would be perfect. They have a huge parking lot and even on the street along the water. As long as people don't start racing it should be cool.

Haven't been to a meet in a longg time...wouldn't mind coming out to see those rotaries...as far as I remember when I first seen the thread about the Thursday nite meets at FMP, I always had looked foward to going but it would always have bad weather on thursdays so I figured no one would really come out...looking foward to coming out in my Sr20ve b13 thou..

I would be willing to travel from the Poughkeepsie area if people are willing to schedule a daytime meet.

 

But then what excuse would we have to use our cell phone flashlights...lol!

 

I have been the first to show up at many an rx7 meet. I am almost embarrassed, thinking I got the location or the date wrong. 8pm you say? I know! I 'll be fashionably late! I show up at 9... and it's me.

 

i bet if i bring like 5 of my homegirls to come with me evrybody will come early
