Tuning
Tuning
Im trying to find someone in Maryland that can tune my Power FC...i was originally going to take it to ray at PFSupercars, but i have a feeling hes fed up with me because i have made 3 appointments..2 of which i got sick and 1 of which my car was being painted, and his prices seem to linger on the high side...if anyone has any suggestions please let me know

I dont know anybody that can tune a RX7 better then Ray. I know what you mean about the drive though. It takes me about an hour or so to get there.
yea its about 50 minutes for me...i agree that tuning is something that needs to be perfect and i totally trust ray, hes done all my work, including my new motor, i just feel like a dick because this is the 4th time ill have to reschedule...i heard of a really good guy in MD named Demetrius(SP?), do you know anything about him?
Ray will get over it if you keep your appointment this time, and pay him for his work. He's a good guy and a business man.... and a great tuner. I think he'd be more upset if you dropped off the face of the earth in embarrassment... he doesn't make any money that way!
Demetrios is a good guy too, but isn't a full-time shop, and is very hard to get ahold of and nail down for an appointment. Between the two if you, it might never happen!

I wouldn't worry to much about missing appointments. As far as pricing goes. You get what you pay for. Besides your really not saving money to hire someone for cheaper with less experience. If something goes wrong and they don't know what to do to fix it will cost you more to get it straight then if you had just paid the pros the first time.
Your best bet is to stick with PFSupercars.
If Ray gives you **** over the missed appointments let me know and I will put his *** in a mutherfuckin full Nelson!! Boo Yaa Baby
To tough for who???

I can't think of any customers that I've given crap to about canceling an appointment. I'm sorry if you felt that way though. The average PFC tuning bill is 2-3 hours, which translates into $300-$450. I don't know of any other place that you are going to get your PFC dyno tuned for less and get the same results. If you decide you would still like to make another appointment just call.

Ok that sounds good. I didnt think you would give anyone crap, i just felt super bad that this has happened so many times. I will give you a call when i get my car back from the paint shop, just so i know i wont have to cancel again. On a similar note, would it be safe to push my boost up to 14 after gettin tuned? i have a FMIC, intake, catback, and downpipe. Im pretty sure i read 14 is the highest you should go to be safe
Good luck Rufio on the tune. With Ray doing it, you have nothing to worry about. My Supra goes in May 2nd for a full Power FC tune. One of four known Supra's in North America running a Power FC!
