Arrow Trackday at NHMS in Loudon, NH

The SCDA had a trackday scheduled at NHMS for Monday April 14th. The cost is $250 and the event is open to all who have a valid driver's license and a car that will pass tech...

Thought you guys might be interested.

more info at www.scda1.com

My Rx7 is not currently ready for the track, but I will be running the car I am racing this year to get some seat time at the track.

I really miss my car and would love to some rotary power represented out there!!!

anyone who is not familiar with "trackdays" or who has any questions feel free to post here or PM me

Argh if only I could currently pass tech. I have many plans to hit the courses this year.

I'd like to check out one of these events later this year (can't pass tech now either). It kind of sucks that they are all on weekdays though.

i agree, the day isnt cheap to begin with, taking a day off just makes it hurt that much more

I'll be at NHMS on April 24th shaking down the STi. I still can't wait for Palmer Motorsports Park to open. It will be nice to have a good track in my back yard.

Arrow omg i sound like I'm trying to sell something lol :)

regarding tech and other concerns:

as far as value goes: $250(even the $300 or more at other tracks) is cheap when you look at the big picture: about two hours of track time, one on one instruction, classroom talks (not to mention breakfast) and just being at the track and learning skills that will be with for the rest of your driving career is an incredible experience. I am planning on hitting almost all of their events this year...

all experience levels are welcome, everyone is a rook at least once.

these guys are professional but not ****, they want to have as much fun as we do, they just want to keep it safe.

this is not "wheel to wheel" racing and you do not need full safety equipment. That said, the car needs to be mechanically sound and leak free.

SCDA is very good at running these events, always a safe bet but NER SCCA has a PDX scheduled for Monday, Memorial Day at NHMS if the day off is an issue. Details will be at ner.org

Nope, sorry. I only go to the open track days at NHMS. $100 for 4 hours open track can't be beat. No tech, no hotel, no BS. Just track time.
