What happened to the edge water meets? I also heard theres been a big meet by the 46 applebees. I need to start going out to meets again. Its been a while since i went to one with my car.

 

the 46 applebees is shut down from what i heard! over a thousand cars showed up last week.

I heard it was shut down in the sense that cops stopped letting new cars into the parking lot. I'm gonna check it out this week.

Yea I took a ride up there also, cops were hanging out in the middle of the lot preventing anyone from parking. One cop told me the meets are canceled and he was nice about it. I read on another forum the owner of the mall asked the cops to shut it down, probably because it was interfering with the businesses there.

Shoulda just come to the whiskey meet every saturday. At least you're allowed to go lol.

The whiskey meet is held from march through october every single saturday rain or shine. Proceeds go to a cancer child.

Its the most reliable, most mature car meet i have ever been to. Thats why it goes on continuously. Not like the other kiddy meets that get shut down and cops watching the entrances and waiting one block away because the kiddies who wanna leave the meet doing 1st gear pulls like morons. Those days are way done for me. Its time for you guys to leave that too. Dont put our community in the same class as those clowns.

Pretty sure there is. Maybe not rotary related otherwise it would be posted here but nevertheless specific car meets tend to be boring. Going to a proper all make car meet is the best choice.

 

i still have to try to hit up the whiskey meet. ive been so busy i havent had time to put my motor in. ill try this week or next week
