RX-7 Owners in WV?

I'm about to buy a 87 FC TII, and I was wondering if there are any RX-7 owners of any walk of life, in the whole state of West Virginia, or preferably in Southern West Virginia, near Charleston?

I'm in morgantown, or in Calhoun County (40 miles north of charleston), depending whether i'm at school or home. I also know 2 other 7 guys in morgantown, and met a lady with a nice NA here. also, two guys near home, and a guy in weston. don't know anybody in charleston, but i know there are some.

anyway, if you ever need some help with the 7, or just wanna get together and cruise or something, lemme know.

I too am in this horid state. As well as bob13bt. We live in Harrisville, which is 30 miles east of Parkersburg. I have been talking to other rotory nuts in my area and we would like to have a rotor meet somewhere. Most likely in Charleston because it is centralized. If we can get enough people interested it would be worth it. Hell if we had enough people we could rent a race course for a day. There is one in Summit Point, WV. Thats by Harpers Ferry.

That's were all those FCs came from ... before the students got back, I was enjoying having the only one in town. :-)

Anyway, if anyone sets up a get-together, I'm in. Just let me know were and when.

For you Morgantown FC owners, see you at *******.

I am from Charleston/Cross Lanes my house sits right on the border line between them. I own 2 RX-7s. A 1984 first gen base model and a 1988 GTU that was for sale forever, I am about to aquire a s5 parts car as soon as I get the cash. And maybe another 2nd gen for my little brother to drive. If you need anything my addy 4674 Victoria Rd. Cross Lanes. Trust me If you come out of charleston and are heading to cross lanes but not on the interstate you drive right by my house. Im on Big Tyler. And if you dont know where that is just look for Marions auto ranch and go that way.

If you see a blue NA with a few mods driving around, wave ... that's me.

Does anyone want to setup a meeting, say the 15th of May? In Charleston, which seems like a good middle ground?

Woah! Someone from Beckley actually had the wits to import an FD? Haha I'm from the Beckley area as well, and I'm in the military myself(AF) stationed in Missouri...god help this place....got myself an 89 tII not long ago. Hopefully I'll have it back home next spring, but it'll be rough. 750miles and the wife gets nervous driving long distances on unfamiliar roads with the baby. Lol

I live in Washington state now, and Mike (XSTransam) passed away a year or so ago (RIP), so obviously neither of us would be making it. I know red87tll is still in WV though, try PMing him if you want to get something together.

Anyone in the Lewisburg area this weekend want to help me figure out how to put my engine back in? I'll supply the grill and the beer.
