nice pics, tell those people at the RX8 club that pickup has a turbo ford motor in it, its not rotary

 

Crap I would have had someone drive my other FC if I knew swaps were cool, I heard you left right before I got there gordon- hardcore bringing the BMW all the way there on a trailer.

 

Yeah - one of the other 8 guys and myself ran over to the Mazda pickup thinking it had an REW swap (it was parked in the swap section and obviously non-stock) but then we saw the valve covers and were a little sad inside. But then I realized that it might be the fastest mazda pickup i'd ever see in my life, so that's cool.

My roommate has the LS1 FD. I'll let him know he might have some competition next year so he doesn't slack off.

 

Yeah, I dont have gordon's cash lying around so I dont think I will win that one next year.

Gordon- wish I could have chatted with you some yesterday. I thought that was you but my brain was so heat soaked I was having issues with just being able to form coherant 3 word answers. I remember you starting the NA 3 rotor swap about the same time as I was contemplating it vs the V8 conversion. I ended up going with the V8 because there really arent many tuners up here that I would trust with my car vs. when I was down in DC.

Anywho, hope to see you all again soon. Hopefully in a place with air conditioning.
