You can bet on there being plenty of hand rolled stogies (100% tobaco and legal) with me if I make it to NJ.

If your jones'n for some you can get them from http://www.westminstercigar.com
They are called Bad Boys. They are the best!

Hey CHINO that's a good idea, I will God willing attend for sure so we should definitely caravan together like we did last time to Mothers...

I am going to RR in Indy, but I may also be heading out to Indy again (non-rotary event) on the same weekend as Rotorfest in NJ. I'll let you know if I decide to ditch the 2nd Indy trip and go to NJ.

i have gone the past 2 years. the first time my motor blew on the way down from NH. last year it blew as i was leaving the front gate. i have rebuilt a motor and am in the process of making it run. if i blow another motor i better get some kind of award for sacrifice or something. i can't not go i feel drawn to it. wish me luck.

If i go to an hotel near this place, is it safe to park the FD in an outside parking lot? I don't know the area. I'll try to convince some of the quebec rx7 club to come with me.. I've seen photos, and you guys seems to be a good gang, we should have some fun. Anyway, i'll have to take the directions to be sure.. it's a long drive from my place hehe !

Any activities to make while being in this region, i would start my trip the friday afternoon to arrive in new jersey the same night. But for the saturday, what could i do, any cinema, or things that i MUST do

Thanks a lot,

Max

Hey John lets keep in contact about that. Hopefully by that time, I should have my Police plates on my car so I can be the last car with the caravan. This way when "THEY" start following us to harrass, they will see the plates and step off.

i'm looking for a nice destination, i'm coming for the meeting me and my rx7s buddies and i want to spend 2-3 more days in new jersey, any of you know some nice places near the beach to take some vacations (hotels) at reasonable prices ? I'm taking 5 days of vacation.. i thought about going to atlantic city, but damn, it's like 2 hrs away from the meet location, isn't it?

So any advice, or activities that i could do..

Thanks guys,

After all 2 - 2.5 hours is not that bad, I doubt you'll find anything closer.
Besides AC you should also consider going to wild wood NJ, nice place, about the same ride length, more and less... but you wuld need to make prior reservation if you don't want to get ripped off on a last minute boking.

No new updates as of yet, just figured I'd pop in here and let everyone know I'm working on things like the flyers, trophies, and securing some sponsors/vendors for the event.
