Once again I can't make it no matter what happens. Gotta deal with me moving into a new apartment, my sister moving and finally my mom moving.

no i do not work for them but they did all the work on my car and after all the shops i've been to they are the only ones who did the job right. i spoke to a few people about you man and i dont understand why you are so angry at them. you got your car done the way you told them to do it and now youre complaining? that just doesn't make sense. you were supposed to pick up your car as soon as it was ready but when they called you to get your car you didn't respond, now that my friend seems like you're in fault. you said that they left your car in the street, but dude you didn't act right in the first place by ignoring them. t&r is a very busy shop man so if your car was waiting for you out side of the shop you massed up and i know your car wasn't in the street it was in front of the gate. one more thing man, these guys are in business for well over 10 years now you tell me why in as tough business as rotary performance all other guys didn't do so well why do they have guys coming from all over the country to have them work on their cars? or in some cases from out of the country, i have a very good relationship with everyone in the shop and i don't think you are right to badbouth them. dude you've been there you know how it is in there there is no customer/mechanic thing going on there everyone that goes there becomes like family. relax Jason maybe you had one of those weeks man.

RELAX, what you talking about. Your car didnt come back the way mines did. SO dont talk like you know what happened. If you get your car back with parts installed with Different size bolts, wrong threaded bolts, and the use of mad washers. My car came back with new scracthes on the door, greased up Velour seats, and a cracked center console. Now waht the **** it that. My experience with them was ******* bad. Who the **** are you to tell me i cant badmouth them. I already called up tony and told him my disattisfaction with the service i received. So its not like im being all ******* secretive about it. I told the owner my problems with waht i received, now imi not entitiled to my opinion based on what I RECEIVED. If you got good service good for yout then :claps hands:

I didnt like what i received, so i can voice my opinion. The same way you are entitiled to voice your opinion on their service so dont tell me to RELAX man. ANd who "are you asking" about me. What good is that doing you. Doing research on me? Hahhaaa....

And dont speak about **** you dont know anything about. I kept in constant contact with TONY. I told him i didnt have the money to get the car towed due to the fact i just gave him paid him $600 not counting getting the car towed over there. Then he said he can hold it for a few days , which he did, then wheni could come up with the money i towed my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

On top of that i told tony not to throw away my Transmission and HE DID. Now he told me he cant store it blah blah blah. I specifically told him to put it in my GXL. Along with my Counterweight whcih i never got back. Luckily i got my LSD back and my axles cause i made his employee go out back and get the parts he swore he threw out. So please man dont talk about **** you wasnt there to see. Just cause you hear nuggaz out there speaking they mouth dont mean **** went down like taht iiiiight..

Yeah he did what i asked himi to do. He put a manual transmission in my previously auto rx-7. Yeah he put all the parts i brought to him on the car. But the service and the manner it was installed was not ******* professional. So im bitching or "complaining" on how the car was serviced. That its. SO now you heard it from my mouth, and this is waht went down. dont be asking about me to other people u got something to find out ask the ***** u researching , THATS ME

They are sloppy and unprofessional!!!!!! There a mess and there shop is a MESS!!!

ok ok ok

ok so you're not happy sorry to hear that but you need to come down, you're accually thinking that you'll bring a car to a mechanic and eveything is gravy, stuff like that unfortunitelly WILL happend to 1 out of 10 of us NO MATTER WHERE WE GO. something always might happend what i don't believe is that tony didn't ask you to replace or clean whatever it is that you claim he messed up. and dude if money is tight like that take on another hobby or put thisone on hold for a while.

ok Jason hear me out here for a second i'm honestly baffled by all this. you know this as well as i do whenever you came to the shop did Tony ever argue with anyone ever? no it's always a happy enviroment people chatting and hanging out and this is the same with every god damn face that has ever walked through that door people come in happy all the time and they leave happy. Tony is a cool dude and he knows his **** bottom line. now when you can't afford something like bolts from mazda YOU DON'T TALK **** ABOUT TONY OR T&R BECAUSE YOU CAN'T AFFORD SOMETHING, things are tough for me too so i simply don't fix something for a while but if Tony put different bolts in my car and saved me some money i don't know about you but i'd be happy.

hey man, i'm not trying to tell you what to say or what to think, all i'm saying is that you should think things through. i don't get why you're so fired up about all this they didn't set your car on fire and spit in your face man i don't know i think i would call Tony if i were you and talk things through again 'cause from expirience i would really have to argue a claim stating Tony isn't going to try to fo fix things if damaged by him. and i see it all the time. fortunately for me i had nothing bad happend to my car when it was there and i did the whole 9 yards from porting to stand-alone immaculate. car runs hard i have no problems with it. which brings me a thought, the bolts that you're talking about, what exactly is happening to your car right now? i'm not trying to argue here now if you need anything and i have it man just ask i think that is a better reason to use this service. again just ask man.

Let me chime in here and tell of my experience with T&R Racing.
Lemme just say, theyre mechanical work is great, they rebuilt my motor it hade 110 compression on both rotors after just 1000 miles, and once they completed it the car ran like a dream.

However their customer service is leaves much to be desired.

First of all i gave them a s5 block with a s4 front cover that was running and operational in a s4 car untill the water seal went. They rebuilt and installed it and i towed it home. Once i ran it i saw it was leaking oil. Tony had me tow it all the way back to T& R where he "fixed it" and i towed it back home.Less than a week later it was leaking oil again and I was once again forced to pay to have it towed to queens. This time he tells me that a s5 front cover/omp is installed and he has to put on a s4 one. He then tries to charge me $250 for a front cover/omp I had given him in the first place. So thats 4 expensive towes from bk to qns because they put on the wrong part and discarded the perfectly working one i gave them on the engine. For the record I never gave them that $250.

In addition to all that they broke my driver side mirror, splashed paint all over my rear bumper, qp, and pristine s5 tails, got 2 tickets for parking my car on the street without tags, and returned the car to me covered in oil(form being stored under a leaking car). However i cannot complain abotu those things since he went out of his way to store the car for me and even let me take it home without paying first.

All and all they are great mechanics and I appreciate the fine work they did on ym old motor.I agree that if you hang outthere they are very cool people (well Romeo was kind of an ******* to my honda driving friends but i think its hilarious). However if you are outside theyre group they dont put the same effort into theyre work.

I am going to go to them soon so they can dyno tune my RE motor and possibly do my 5-lug swap, but id like to be present for anything they do, i simply wont trust leaving my car there again.

I dont know where you got the impression of me complaining on this POST. All i said was that you must work for them since you sounded like you was riding on the shops every word. Thats all. In another topic i posted up what happened to me at T&R when people were discussing their experiences at NYC rotary shops. I was entitiled to my opinion. NOw the only reason why im getting more heated is cause people try to tell me that my expereince at T&R shouldnt be discussed.

**** That i will discuss it. I can air them out if i want. I had my experience im entitiled to bitch about it. I heard good **** thats why i decided to go. I gave them a shot anyways. I guess it wasnt the type of work they like to do on rotarys but nevertheless it was an okay job, but the service was shitty. so im the 1 outta 10, but even though they should try to change there ways of servicing the rotary community so the 1 outta 10 becomes 1 outta 100. Now that shows some move to improving customer relations and will probably get you more customers even some who have had bad experience.

And what are you talking about bolts , he put the bolts in the car, he should of atleast used the proper size and thread bolts kid!..

This is the kicker Tony isn't going to try to fo fix things if damaged by him. So if he ***** up my car and he brakes something (him or his employees) hes not suppose to FIX IT , This line here says it all kid.

And on another note.

"and dude if money is tight like that take on another hobby"

Do NOT , Do NOT ******* TELL ME what to have as a hobby. I dont give a **** if ima bum *****, this is my ******* hobby, and ill spend every dime on it, how i can when ever i can , when i can!

Jason , New York ******* CITY!

there is another rx7 shop in nassau county right on the border of queens and long island. the guy is known as smokin joe. he is doing my car right now and i'm very happy with his work. he did not try to sell me expensive parts that i did not need, he is giving me the best performance for the least amount of money and best of all he is keeping my car streetable. very nice person to do business with and very professional.

I guess there is good and bad about everybody. i always heard good things about smokin joe online till i met up with some local rotorheads. then came the horror stories of swapping/stealing internals and the most memorable story of using crazyglue to repair a differential.

You take chances whenever you let someone else work on your car/computer/house/ ect.

Wow, I never heard Jason get so mad. I don't have an opinion of the shop since I have only driven by it. I will give Jason the one up and have to agree with him since I know him and his opion counts with me!

I'd go for dyno runs and tuning...maybe.

I can install parts myself.
