I should be there this week (17th) with my FD. Does anyone happen to know a local shop in Richmond where I can get an optima 51R battery? My battery didn't make it through winter and I need to replace it before heading out.

I think advance auto carries them, maybe some of the other parts stores too.

I also think I saw some optima's in the Sear's tire shop the other day.

 

I got my Oddysey PC1200 battery at Batteries Plus on Broad street, they had a bunch of Optima'S as well

 

don't think i'll be making it out to starbucks this friday, heres where i'm at with the car right now.

well this Friday was one of the few i've missed but my son had a freind staying over and I ain't letting 12 year olds have free reign in my house for hours.
Some good news this morning I was feeling motivated and got the rear plugs on the FD changed and she fired right up. Now I need to get the front ones - which I have NO idea how I'm going to get at.
I'll definitley be at the meetup on the 24th butmost likely in the FC still.

I found the Wangan group Thursday when I noticed under Arcana's post on the VMSC forum, looks like I'll get to meet him at the autoX tomorrow

 

OOOh OOOh I have a question, what the easiest/best way to change the sparkplugs on the FD? (the rear 2 were easy)

 

nib you should have been there there were 2fd's a first get a lotus a red 02 sti a porsche it was really tight and it was alot of fun i really cant wait till next friday i will definatly be up there again now that i know where the hell its at lol

kevin at rotary resurrection said he was too busy to take any orders until like april so i decided to attempt the rebuild myself, i just want to find somone to street port my motor, ive already gotten the engine apart. which FD's were at the starbucks meet?

What are you rebuilding anyway? did it just blow the apex seal?

there should be at least 1 of each gen
