First of all, I am not making fun of the FD on the side of the road. We were stuck in semi slow moving traffic and I saw him on the side. There were two people standing in front of the FD with the hood popped. I even gave a friendly gesture and smile as I passed. The FD looked very familiar. If I didn't have my family in the car with me and a day planned for the Hamptons (we were already running late due to traffic and and plans to meet someone in the Hamptons) I would have stopped and see if he needed help (which it seems like he already had because a van was parked in front of him) and give him a gallon of coolant I had in the trunk if need be.

I was hoping that he would surf the forum and recognize the situation when I passed by him.

The black FD pulling out of the gas station was simply horrid. It had what seemed to be 21" if not 22" wheels on it. Not even 20's. Just thought it was an awful sight .

The only reason I said "LOL" was because it was meant to be an inside joke for us rotor heads and our "unreliable" RX7's. I even said to my family in the car, "Damn rotaries always breaking down"... Jokingly.

If I wasn't being clear before, then I apologize, but the post wasn't meant to be offensive in any way. There is no need for name calling and such for misunderstanding.

Rotaries are very reliable engines and they can go for a long time. Once an engine is modified there's not telling when they are going to go down. I had my N/A engine 13B give me 200,000 before it died on me, and i used to beat it every day...

I would be very upset if i was broken down on the side of the highway and i say another Rotary pass by and then start a thread like this... and obviously many other people...
