Recommend a Paint Shop on the East Coast

Say that cost is not an option, where would you go for a top notch job?

I will be moving back to the states within the next couple months and plan on having a, fairly custom, paint job done to my FD.

It would be awesome if people could share their experiences and/or rumors with shops that go above and beyond the average dealership/panel banger who can give you a quick respray for cheap, moving more towards the fabricator/artist who really takes pride in their work and will turn around and give you a show quality, award winning, outcome.

I will be operating out of Norfolk, Virginia, so would prefer to find a place within several hundred miles of there.

Thanks in advance!

Levi

The only guy I'm familiar with is Dan at Mr. Spoiler. He has owned a few FDs and does show quality work. He is up in Manassas. He is not cheap, but you can see he does quality work.

Awesome! Thanks for the suggestions guys =) I'll def give them both a call on Monday.

George, do you have any higher res pictures than the ones on your site?

Also, any chance we could sticky this thread? Could be a good info dump for future reference, covering the whole of the region...

Maybe. Any particular one you're interested in? Or any particular view of the car?

Just anything with more detail of the finished product really.

OK. Got a great picture, but it's too big to post here. Where do you want me to send it?

I have a two-car garage now. There wouldn't be any bugs in a paint job done in that one, unlike when I did the Honda in the UK.

But you should sell it and get a FWD car since you can't make any power with yours.
