R.i.p.

Some of you NOVA guys and some of the maryland guys to have seen my car and have seen how much money i unloaded into a n/a rx7 and how many miles i had on my motor....On may 7th I was driving back from a friends house helping him with his brakes when a ford escort made a left turn in front of me. I was doing a good 45-50mph when he pulled no more then 30feet in front of me. I just remember seeing his car then my steering wheels and feeling the backend lift up and slam into the ground. when i looked up and i can see under my CF hood i got out as fast as i could(i had just toped off my gas tank) .when i got out of the car the first thing the other driver said was ''i didnt see you'' how can you miss a LOUD bright red RX7 you can hear me coming from 300yards away....anyhow this is the aftermath.............

Terrible stuff... glad you're okay, and at least the most expensive item is still salvageable. See this as an oppurtunity to build something even better

Damn man I hope your alright after that. I would suggest seeking medical treatment if you have any pain otherwise once your state that you don't it is hard to get the insurance to pay for it.

Sorry to hear that. Stick the motor in in the first gen you've got laying around and sell off the rest.

Jim hull probably has one or two of course, but if you're putting that into a first gen, why not just use the 12a tranny?

Allow me to crack an egg of knowledge...

All rotaries from 74+ have the same bolt pattern on the bellhousing. All NA RX-7s from 83-92 (including 12A) have the same clutch diameter (225mm). Just make sure to use your 13B flywheel and counterweight so its correctly balanced. The SE trans just has a taller 5th gear than the 12A.

Edit: ...and AC Slater is definitely bad luck

Yeah definitely, it's one of the colors that's really sensitive to different light.
