Someone lied about the swap - it's all messy and I still have wires and missing trim pieces everywhere

Honestly we've tried on several occasions to find a different place to meet. Both for variety and because some people don't like Fuddrucker's. Every time, the majority found that Fudd's was the most centrally located and popular with the group attending. I'd be happy to pick a place somewhere else, if you can convince everyone else to drive there. I'm a fat guy, there's very few restaurants I don't like.

If you want to put together something farther South, I'm sure some of us can make it. I try to get down to MIR and to my buddy's house in Waldorf whenever I can, I just don't get that chance very often.

Ya, there was allot of stuff going on sunday. Guess I should be happy someone showed LOL. Like I said though, it was a nice drive... and went for another 2+ hour drive to nowhere later on at night.

I wouldn't mind the drive to NY so much... if it wasn't Ny*C*. I don't think alot of our cars would make on your roads. I though my subaru was going to fall apart everytime I went up there.

NYC aint that bad now. Our potholes arent that bad. I just drove by one today that could swallow half of a bettle and others on the smaller side that can devour 5 year old kids =)

Thats why i drive my girls truck to work, school , and my 7 (with a rotary not V8) comes out at night

It doesn't have to be in another city. Columbia is fine but damn would it be nice to sit and talk about cars or whatever over something other than a damn burger! You know? Not that I mind burgers but can we have something else on the menu too. Literally across the street on the other side of dobbin is a wide range of other restaurants. Pick one... any one...

Because they're so "unique" ?

Just as an FYI, my car had no motor or transmission when I bought it. It was on it's way to the junkyard. Better on the road than in the scrapper, in my opinion.

I don't mind going to another restaurant. Others have been discussed an nobody could agree on anything else, so Fuddrucker's has become somewhat of a tradition. There's no reason would could switch it up once in awhile - where would you like to have it? Off the top of my head, Famous Dave's and Don Pablo's I think are the only two over there worth looking into.

Nah. everyone smelled all right. The lack of food mighta had something to do with it. It was more of a car show and less of a barbecue.

I have servers. I could use some upgrade parts. But I'm not about to spend money on building them up and putting software on unless people are going to join. Nobody showed any interest, so I let all the eBay auctions I was watching go down the *******.

Not famliar with either so it doesn't really matter. Famous Dave's one month, then Fudds again, and then Don Pablo's the next, and back to fudds if thats how people want to do it.

Not against change, but just want to explain the Fudds deal.

While, some of us are finacially sound, some are not. Some of us are starving students who can't afford a new clutch, etc. some of us are straight broke, etc. So Fudds was suggested to keep the prices down so more people can come and be comfortable.

Then, theres the people who don't like this or that. Burger seemed neutral.

Last two meets, I ate at home then came to fudds...

Sung I owe you a meal anyway because I've had your parts sitting in my garage for so long

I know what you're saying though. I remember the first meet, when we had dinner at Outback. I think some people had tears in their eyes when the check came. I guess I'm lucky that my wife likes expensive food as much as I do

Don Pablos is uh..more expensive :P Compared to Fudd's, the average meal there (to the best of my memory) is like 3-4 dollars more. And that doesn't include the super awesome milkshakes, because they don't have them!! Ahh!

I don't think I've ever been to Famous Daves, so. No opinion!

Its called order within your means and if you're dead broke then speak up. I don't mind putting up some money for some other people to eat if its going to help improve or maintain the atmosphere. And lots of places have nuetral foods life buffalo wings and chicken strips that alot of people can eat from. I'd have no problem ordering a round of wings for a couple people. If there's an issue then its the responsibility of the person with the issue to speak up on it. No one is going to laugh or leave them hanging.

I can understand all the ideas of going somewhere else, but frankly offering to pay for someone who can't afford a meal out is A)going to get expensive and B)make the broke guy feel about one inch tall.

So far nobody has started a thread naming a different place with a date and time. We won't know if moving it somewhere else will work until you try. So someone disagreeing with Fuddrucker's pick a place and time, make a thread, and see what happens.
