Question NOVA: Steve Kan Tune

Lets get a list together and get Steve out here. I can get a shop in Sterling or one In MD that can set up a day for Steve to tune. I have about four RX7's including myself interested.

I need to check to see when he can get out here. Please add your name to the list if you are interested. Dates and prices to follow ..

I would be interested..

If you could set up a Tech/Tune session would be ideal.

set it up, so each car get the little tick tac stuff out the
way before the tune.. ie: plugs, oil change, fuel filter and etc.. simple stuff.
Kind of like what the guys in DE are doing.

Steve only does tuning, not maintenance.

No offense, but thats stuff you should be capable of doing yourself before the tune.

I know we have enough already so I am going to move on this. Since Dulles is close I am going to see if the guy I know in Sterling will work a day on the dyno for the tune. More info as I get it . Thanks for the response, please add your name if interested

As stated above car should be ready before the tune.

From the web page:

Cost: $350 per car if Steve has to travel within the U.S.
$400 per car anywhere in North America. Price may vary along with the minimum number of cars, depending where your at.

A few things...

1) Andy, please make sure the shop has either a Dynojet or a Dynapack, NOT a Mustang Dyno. It'll make a LOT of ppl pretty pissed lol.

2) Steve DOES do maintenance/repairs to get the cars up and running, and safe to dyno. Prior arrangements must be made for this sort of things, however. And regarding price, here's what Steve had to say just so we're all clear...

If I had to spend more than 2 hrs on your car, I'll have to charge $100/hr extra after two hrs.
3) I'm not sure who'll be handling the communication w/ Steve (Andy?) but Steve will prob be staying at my place while he's here.

4) I'm waiting on Dave to pop in and post "Why not go to Ray?"

~Ramy - and no, I'm not getting anything tuned

Do you think there is a chance he would be able to do street tunes as well?

I've heard Steve is great and he's a really nice guy I've talked to him on the phone.
