Here's the Turbo II down the street from me. Plate reads "Andino" Very nice setup! Don't mind the mirror in the pic.

haha, nice job with the pic, woudnt mind the rims so much if they werent color matched red in the centers. my buddy did say it looked like it had a skirt on the front bumper. Huh, looks clean though, i had worse visions in my head! wonder whats goin on under the hood? im not gonna dabble in the 20B area here, but i must say the 20B acosta motorsports put in their RX-8 was one of the cleanest swaps ive seen in person....

I'm in Nashua. I have a 3rd Gen just upgrade to single turbo and tune this past winter but the coolent seal let go. I'm saving up to do a rebuild. It's tough to find a local rebuilder around here.

Good luck finding any. Your best bet is to get one shipped to you and do the swap yourself. Its not all that difficult. Pettit regularly builds motors, Atikins, RX7 store, Rotary Performance....etc

he is a good honest builder and he will work with your budget. also very pleasant person, i met him through a mutual friend and i get parts from him all the time. in manchester there are other builder other than me of wilson st i have to go find the number for you , one of them works on toyotas and mazdas the other one works on any car , the one that works on mazdas and toyotas supose to be a good builder but the shop looks shady. any how if i can help you on the build up let me know, i am ford certify tech and i been working on rotaries since i was a kid in pr but i been building them for customers for 10 years now.

Nice build. Do you wanna teach people how to build? Where do you get the lapping done?

anyone that wants to learn all you have to do is provide the engine and parts and we can do it together . building a rotary is cake really. as far as the porting goes that takes a lot of work using carbide tools, i use a few different templates some from rotaryshack other templates from pineapple racing depends on the engine but to port the intake and exaust could take me a few days. if the engine internals are in perfect conditions its a straight foward build up if the bearings or other internals are in bad shape than the build up is longer usually waiting on the parts.

I will probably take you up on that offer. I have an 89 NA sitting in my garage in pieces that I have been wanting to build for a few years now. I just need to find a body to put it in! I would definitely like to learn how to build them.
