New GUY

Hi all ,
New to the site looking for a 5 lug 2nd Gen car for a motor swap. Currently driving a 2004 Cobra w/a HP Twin Turbo stage 3 Kit 828rwhp at 17psi. She moves but isnt the best thing to road race and auto X with. Thus my need for a 2nd gen car !!! Anyway nice to meet you all look foward to hanging around.

She is a very nice car. However I do not post pics of my car online. Got her stolen by some guys on a Mustang site about a year ago. They knew the car because of pics and color. I was lucky they only broke the drivers window and the ignition lock. Thank god for LoJack & cell phones !!! Since then no pics just wont risk it again. But more importantly looking for a Turbo II or GTU with a blown motor , bad trans etc.... Has to be a 5spd for my swap purposes , if you know of a car in the Jersey area by all means let me know.

Can you at least post a pic of the engine bay? :O I'd like to see how twin's fit in the 4.6's engine bay...

Anyways. I have an '89 GTU that you can have for free..but not yet. It will be without engine, trans, interior, taillights, etc..

But it won't be for taking until I pull all this stuff out. :\

You bastard (lol) !!! This is all your fault , and I will explain why. I saw a video of your car doing some laps at Pocono if I am correct some months ago. Stock suspension & brakes if I am correct. Anyway me and my friend were like nah no way..... Blew our minds when saw NJ plates and no way to reach you (I just wanted to buy your car) Searched all over the net and found your website and then found Hinson Supercars , along with Torque Central. So I searched high and low for a 93 up RX7 basket case , blown motor ,bad trans..... Whatever I could find lol. Well they were all over $7000 cash and that was to much for what I had budgeted. So I decided on a Turbo II car instead as the prices were better. Anyway I have the Hinson Supercar install kit , Tein Coilovers , Energy Supsension Bushings , Racing Beat Sway Bars , Spec stage 3 clutch & fylwheel and a 2002 Camaro ss motor & 6spd w/all accessories. I got the motor from LAPD (not the cops) www.thelapd.com their client wrecked the car in a rear ender. The motor is a 402 cube motor w/AFR heads and a cam. All I have to do is find a car for these pieces I have accumulated thus far and I am almost ready to rock. I will want to build some CCW wheels for track use and some Volk wheels for the street. Anyway if its OK I may want to send a PM for help and advice etc.....

i'm honored. yeah PM and email away. you know i bought it assembled so i might not be able to help in a few areas but between the internet and a few sites, you'll be alright. we're doing lime rock on march 25 if you're ready by then. and then about once a month a different road course. but i'll mostly be going to pocono with PDA.

how much HP? gotta be close or over 500 hp. damn.
teins and ccw's. nice choices. keep us posted of your progress.

p.s. i was a mustang guy way back in the day (late 90's). ran 10.3 on slicks and 10.4 on radials.
was in a bunch of mustang magazines:

I was offered a chance at a Mag from MM&FF but declined after my stolen car debacle. Really looking to stay under $2500 at a max and in the NJ area in case its not driveable etc.... Thanks for the input , If she is done by March I would love to take her out on the track. Keep my fingers crossed on that one !

Oh yeah the car motor dynoed at 512 rwhp in the Camaro !
