oh my god. that absolutely sucks! I'm sorry to see that this happened. did some of the snow melt off a tree or something?

 

it looks like the weight on the roof made it lean and it pulled the center bar from one of the ends, and t hen the whole thing gave way

however i had to paint the car anyways due to clear coat pealing, and was going to fix the rear quarters, this is just an unwelcome addition

at least the engine wasn't damaged, you've gotta be thankful for that

 

Wow, sorry to see and hear that. I hope insurance helps, but most of the time they will not touch roof damage because its structural and they will not guarentee it.

i just got paint quotes for the car now, looks like 260ish + whatever the flex agent costs (forgot to price it) for the mazda's winning blue from the rx8's

i belive the shell i can get has no real issues asside from needing paint
