Need Help in Annapolis!

Hey, I was hoping there were some kind FD folks in the Annapolis area with experience in the FD's stock twins department. I don't really have the means to effectively troubleshoot my turbo problem right now, but I do have access to a lift and some tools at the Naval Station near the Naval Academy. If there are some kind souls were willing to give up a sunday afternoon and lend me a hand, I'd be very greatful. I'm a poor college student, but I can pay in BEER and FOOD.

The tenative dates are either the 27th of August or 3rd of September. If you're interested and available send me an e-mail to c.chung.125@gmail.com, shoot me a PM, or reply to this post. Thanks to any and all who reply.

-Chris

P.S. Does anyone have one of those hand held pump/gauge tool things to check vaccum solenoids?

Tell us your symptoms of your problems.
We very well can probably diagnose it here on the forum.
At least narrow it down, at the least..

Go to the 3rd gen. section, and ask or search about your issues..
1000-1 odds, someone either have had your issue, or currently does.

Goodluck.

off the top of my head.

Check your map sensor connection
Check all your intercooler couplings. (Definately check your Y pipe connections) there
should be no play in it at all.

Got a boost gauge?? if so whats going on??

Map sensors, and intercooler couplings look fine. My boost gauge bit the dust a little while ago, but I'm waiting on a new one right now. Hopefully it'll come in sometime soon.

From what I can tell by the seat of my pants, the primary is spooling fine, and under 4500rpm or so, I can't tell anything is wrong at all. Part of the reason why I didn't notice for a while. When it would normally transition before both turbos come online, there's nothing and it feels like it's only the primary running. No hiccup, no bog, nothing. Just one tiny turbo running. I did a little search on the forum, and from the 2 or 3 closest matches to my symptoms (sp?), the suggestions and solutions usually revolved around checking all of the vacuum lines and solenoids.
