If you want someplace that's top notch, you'll most likely have to travel a lot further than that Khris.

I know a paint guy but he's in newark.

Hes the guy that painted my 99 bumper VR. He paints exotics so his work is top notch.

His shop is right off the mcaruthur hwy/end of route 21 in newark.

I can ask my dad to get his number if you're really interested.

I'd take it to Speed 1 in PA. They'll keep your car safe, and Kyle does an amazing job. I just had mine done in VR and it looks great. I'm sure you've seen the blue Veilside FD they've done at the car shows as well.

After dealing with my last paint shop, I've learned that service and honesty is just as important. The last shop I had my car at gave me an estimate of 3 months and had it for over a year. Even today, they still owe me a repaint on some parts and they screened my phone calls when I asked for updates. I actually had to send a friend over and ask him to watch what they did when I called. This is from a guy that works on alot of show cars. His other works is great and my car did look awesome but it did have small flaws. I guess if I gave him another year my car would have been perfect.

actually i just thought of one... my cousins friend's dad owns a body shop in newark. its called "top shop" they do great work.... its my cousin with the white s2k, i think you've met him. hes the opposite of me, he pays the $$$$$$ for his stuff. his exhaust was over 2k, volks 3k+..... he got his paint done there. He's **** like you so I would actually feel safe recommending them to you.. but they are expensive......

V&F Auto down the street from my shop does good work. Had them paint a 99 bumper for a customer a few weeks ago and it came out great.

ask them what type of clear coat they use because it might look good when it comes out but it could be a totally different story 3 months from now, the best clear coats are expensive 200-300 dollars a gallon, ive been painting for 6 years out here in brooklyn, ive sprayed a bmw x6 with a glasurit clear coat<<<< the set up itself was 450 for a gallon and 2 activators so if you want a top notch job be prepared to spend alot of money, a decent clear coat like transtar euro kwik or spi euro will give u a high long lasting gloss for a decent price, also the there are like 5 different types of basecoat brands out there so its on you what your budget is,
