I saw 2 TII's last night at the drags and was wondering if either of them are members on this site. one was as far as I could tell from the engine bay when I was walking through the staging lanes was a bone stock black TII with rims and the other idk about performance mods but a red stock "looking" turbo the black one ran in the mid-low 15's and the red one ran mid 14's pretty much eveytime let me know if you are on here or if anyone knows them.

 

I was the black one. Definetly not stock. Shitty transmission.

The red one was Andy87t2. We made a thread for NED but nobody replied so we just went.

 

I wish I had mine on the road I would have been there still need rear end parts to finish my swap. no kidding on the mods just had a glimse of your engine bay never looked at the red on. I take it the tranny is what was killing your times? just curious you know what boost the stock turbo car run safely upto?

 

Untuned I wouldn't run anything higher than 8 on an s5.

Stock s5 turbo is 8.3
Stock s5 turbo can handle is 12 psi
Stock s5 tmic can handle 10 psi

 

well as far as mods I am going to have a custom V mount and a 3" turbo back for this summer all the big mods will come next summer

 

Still don't have enough information. Year? Supporting fuel mods/ability to tune boost/fuel?

 

yeah i wouldnt tackle modifying anything without being able to tune the fuel system.. that leads to major issues...

Ned Tonight. Look For Red Fd With Brone Painted Stockers.

 

I am deff going to get the apexi power fc for management it is a 90 with a bre swap I have fuel rail with 720 and 1600 cc injectos and will be getting a rebuild with big street port. either going to run a large turbo like a gt35 or a gt40 or going to run a TO4 series turbo idk yet oh and a full aeromotive fuel system (pump,filter,afpr) anyone going to NED this sat?

 

as far a fuel mods go. the stock injectors are good on the stock turbo, shouldn't have any reason to upgrade them as long as you are on the stocker. the fuel pump is pretty good on stock turbo as well. might want to consider upgrading it. i ran my stock fuel pump on the S5 turbo at 11-12 psi with no problems at all.

ah dammit lol I was looking for a r6 lol I saw him run a few times idk about the guy that had the blue STI not slipping the clutch enough on the launch kept stalling. did see a red FB there never expected that pretty cool to see.
