@FRFC3S. I was up at DentSport buying a turbo off one of thier guys and was wandering around the shop a bit. I noticed you had your car tuned there looking through your ad. Have you ever had anything else done at DentSport? Hows thier work? Looks like they run a nice shop and have some pretty cool projects going on.

 

My buddies ex modeled for them . They have dome amazing awd race cars. They charge alot but it's worth it

 

Yeah $200 an hour to tune a SAFC is a bit steep. I also need a downpipe fabbed. I might just go to a local exhaust shop. Anyone got a 3" bender?

 

I only got dyno'd there. But they are really nice and friendly. They have a lot of open houses and offer little free cookouts things and stuff. They are good ****. I've never had them do anything but put me on the rollers though.

Found a subframe in Ny, I am heading down next sunday to pick it up! Anybody have some old shitty fc rear struts and springs? i just need them to push the car in and out of the garage on. Also any set of 5 lug wheels with bald tires....?

Got the front hubs and struts back on last week, i'm itching to start on the body work. Recently found out that my neighbor has a tubing bender.. roll cage here i come!

 

I have a spare set of FRONT struts and springs, lol!

 

wow! have to save this thread! whats up eveyone? My 10ae should be rolling in the next couple of weeks. I got a subframe from ny, and am just waiting on rear struts and some wheels i am borrowing from a friend.
Fenders, front bumper, and hood should be coming also in the next couple of weeks, then the body work begins.

 

If u need help let me know. I've been making a shopping list now it's time to save some money. I'm gonna be making a 12a based 4 rotor. Once I get another 12a and a 3 rd middle iron it will cost me roughly 5k$ . Any one got a spare center iron that will work with a older 13b or 12a. Any one wanna donate lol.

I'm for real guys im looking at 3k plus from taxes. Na p port 23a 4 rotor carbed 400hp plus he'll yeah lol.

Any one want p ported rotor housing 100 each 150$ with tube installed and filled. Ready to be reinstalled. 150$ for uim to carbs or throttle body. Custom made to specs. I've made a few but charged more. You guys are buddies so huge discount.
If u have spare 13b parts will do this for free.

 

Idk about the sa Ive been making p port housing for peoe. I'm gonna p port that motpr and a spare 12a it's gonna tale me a few years if I don't get more work for the 4 rotor.. I could do it in less time but I wanna do alot of mods. Lighten rotors,or billet rotors , coated housing and side plates.. Like the lemans cars .

Wount be some time cause it's 5 k for the 4 rotors kit the 700 per housing for coating. I'm front half the sa this summer and putting a 8.8 out back . It's going to be gutted and flat black. If the sa can be saved. Rotary mustang.

 

Frfc is it a roller the 400 ob what shape etc mite be less work then my sa.

 

It's pretty rusty. the sa may be less work. are we the only ones keeping this thing alive these days? haha where did everybody go?

 

Also, how'd the capri ever turn out?

 

The Capri kinda on hold reall just need fuel system and exhaust lol yd is getting married he's half owner sa I'd have to patch the fram where the cross member is really rotted err

Can u guys help me find some pics since u seem to all be about subarus. If not pics some answers.
Do all the suspension point bolt to the sub frame minus the shock tower tops? Can any one measure from shock tower to shock tower like center of the shock retaining bolt(not sure what to call it. Do the a Axels come straight out of the trans or do they have joints so they angel forwards? Some pics would be great of the trans and suspension in the car minus motor. I'm giving him my adapter plate I got for some work I did to mount rotary motor to sub trans.

If it works out like where hopping well just bolt the sub frame in (mod it of course) and call it a day.
Or if the shock towers are way way different spacing cut the center of the sub frame out and make it bigger or smaller as needed and get custom Axels. If the motor is to far forwards we could do a few things. Well please help if u guys can.

andy- its a pleasant surprise to see you on here. sad news- i sold the wrx. good news- i replaced it with a FD RX7.


also- if anyone is looking for a FC project car i have an 87 GXL sitting in the garage gathering dust. the body/interior is in great shape. the motor is blown- previous owner told me the apex seals went. i never bothered to check as i was planning on pulling the motor. now that i have the FD i'm not expecting to have time to work on the FC.

 

How much u waNt for the fc . I really don't feel like having to convert the front half of my sa to tube frame(rust) unless I can figure out a awd setup.
