Yeah the was car was painted at SSHP. I have a son with one of the guys there. They have gotten some of my parts for me.

I also have bought most of my other cars from North End Motors which is Mo's brother's dealership.

I used to show my car with theirs all the time and its been up to NED with them also. I will probably come around when the weather is warmer. This was just a crazy year and I was too busy being spoiled driving the BMW around. But I am over it now. LOL

I live right around the corner from SSHP.

Yeah, it is a beast! They have a couple of cars over there in various stages that are pretty sick. I think the Evo is done now. It will be nice to see what the supra does whe it is done. I miss that car!

At one point I had the Supra, FD and Grand National all in my garage.

Hah, awesome. I havn't been down there in awhile. I tend to do my work myself and I just like to make ties with shops when I'm in a pinch.

What are your plans for the FD? Do you like the Beemer more or something?

They don't fix themselves.

Due to gear spacing, all FCs will inevitably start to grind at the 100k-200k marks depending on how they were treated. A good fluid change of an advanced transmission fluid can temporarily stop it, but it will eventually come back.

I already bought Andy's low mileage tranny/starter/crossmember but thanks for the info. Where does the shifter sit on the T5 after the adaptor?

How do I convert to HIDs with the FD and still keep the flip-up headlights? What are good conversion kits for a reasonable price.

Thanks

The FD is getting it's coilovers this year and hopefully a new intercooler. Then all it needs is a tune and she is good to go! I have just been ignoring her because the Beemer is pure luxury and I don't have much time on my hands.

LOL. You have no idea how much I miss my truck!!! Yeah it was huge and the lift and wheels/tire set-up made it so I had to climb in it. The sedan is much more practical since the Excursion didn't fit in any garages in Boston. Barely made it into Providence Place Mall.

If I don't find the M5 I want by the spring I will probably look at another one and just buy a trailer for the FD so I it can be a trailer queen.

I will be alone! I was trying to get away and go south but that didn't work out. So by the looks of it shovelling all day since we are supposed to get another 8" here on the South Shore.

Be safe if you are driven guys!

I'm working tonight, and tomorrow, too. Yay, second shift. At least I get overtime tomorrow. I had to drive 30 miles in the snow from Methuen to Boxborough. Perfect weather to enjoy the beauty of Subaru all-wheel drive...
