historic tags mean you cant drive it more than 5k a year and not as a daily driver. and you still have to pass emissions anyway since its post 1986

just cheaper insurance is all it really gets you

it's 1984 that cars have to pass emissions from, not 1986.

Ok, If you've got virgin ears, avoid reading below this line.

GODDAMN ************.
I've ordered Brake rotors 3 times in the past two weeks and no one has them. Now MY temp tag is about to expire and I need brakes to pass. (not too safe with the old ones either). So now I'm going to have to go get my front rotors turned, I have good new brake pads... so I guess I'll put those on in the front.

What a damn shame. I'm so mad. I could have had nice new slotted/crossdrilled rotors all around. damnit damnit damnit. Now I just need to make sure everything else gets here on time for me to take my t2 to TN to get the new engine in. ****** a.

you guys have no idea what your talking about

if you don't have historic tags you still have to go through emissions unless your car is like a 74 or something, my 81 jeep had to go to emissions last year cause I haven't gotten historical tags for it yet... it's just a different test though....

Emission tests are for cars manufactured from 1977 on...

... at least that is what the lowlife, inbred MVA told me when I asked them.

Pull top two fuses, crank with throttle all the way open for a few seconds, and then boom, unflooded

while we are on the topic of the MVA (most vicious ********).
What happens if say I'm about to get like 16 points if I don't get out of them in court? Any thoughts on the idea. How long would I be without my god given talent.
And on that note...anyone wanna gimme a ride?

Story

STORY TIME: Gather around kids

To add to the many point I have from the days of my civic and first rx7 come the story of the last 3 months.

Setting: sometime in late Oct.

I had just bought my honda del sol (for the MPG!) and had taken it to a shop to finish all the things that i could not do or didn't want to do, due to high level of depression (my girlfriend left in aug.)*hurt*

The temp tags had just expired the day I was driving it home from the shop, in the 45 minute process of doing so. I get a call from her and it didn't go well to say the least. After the conversation was over I became slightly enraged and required a method of ventalation. Hence I downshifted and sped passt anything and everything I could find...including a cop.
CHARGE #1: Driving with expired tags, expired registration, and speeding.
*to say the least this just added to the already shitty day.
-----
Later on sometime in november my friend and I are racing our Audi s and he won...and on the drive home his accumulator goes out...and in the glory of having no brakes he hits the back of an SUV. Needless to say I ended up giving him rides for quiet sometime. In so doing I recieved a speeding ticket for doing 4miles over and one for seatbelt(it was stuck and I was in a hurry).
CHARGE #2/3: Speeding and seatbelt
----
Two days ago. I'm with myfriend at his werk, he is about to get off, and our mutual friend calls us from a party and tells me that this guy i hate is there pissing off this girl that I'm really good friends with. Superhero mode kicks in and i and my amigo speed of to fix the situation. About 3 blocks away the cop "CATCHES UP".
He gives us this big story about were and how. I didn't listen and or care, so it got him alittle upset. needless to say he didn't get laid the night before so he hit us with the serious ****.
CHARGE #4/5: Speeding 105 in a 55. and reckless driving (11 points).

NOTT FUN!!!!!!!!!

I might post copies of the tickets if I ever get my scanner werking.

they can only give you points for one of the tickets you get...
you'll only get 6 points max for the reckless driving... you can't get 11

I don't know how many points your all your tickets are but you might be ok

by MD law, police arent allowed to give you a speeding ticket unless yer doing 6MPH or over. there is no fine set for 1-5MPH over.

beyond that....5-7 points you goto drivers ed AGAIN (been there done that) for like 2 hours then get a paper signed off. 7-9 points is like some conference with driving safety board. 9-12 is license suspension. and 16 is like when they REVOKE yer license.

go look up the numbers...i only glanced at it when i had gotten my 5th point.
