Shane,
You're welcome to come take a look at what I still have on the parts car - I think the Y pipe is in decent shape, but the mufflers might not be usable.

MD Motor for Sale

Hello everyone! I hope you RX7 is doing better then mine. Someone drove into the back passenger quarter pannel. I was SUPER pissed. Anyway I have some parts left over inducing an engine.

I was planning on rebuilding my Convertible but someone hit it while it was parked, totaling. The motor is on a wooden sled for easy carrying. It sounds like it has good compression. I can crank it by hand. It is stripped down to the core. The rotors and housings are in tact. I have other parts if you need as well.
FC13b Auto counter weight.

MD Respray

Hey everyone it's been a while since I've been on the boards. Just got my FD back and it's in desperate need for a respray. Does anyone know a good place that does a pretty good paint job (Balt-Wash area)? Solid black coat, nothing custom. This was my first stop in the boards, so if I find something elsewhere and someone else was interested in this, I'll report back.

I dropped my car off to get painted yesterday

(it's about time... it's been primer for 6 years....)

I'm having a friend of mine do it at his restoration shop, but he's pretty backed up, so he probably wouldn't be able to get to your car for a few months if you asked him to do it (we started talking about painting my car in January). I'm not sure if he would want to do just a respray too. but you can ask him if you want.

he's in frederick:

That should look good and Black is a really easy color to paint from what i have heard cas it hides imperfections so it probably pretty cheap.

I would never call anything bodywork related cheap but black is the cheapest color of paint as well and that paint won't have a clear coat, so I don't have to pay for that either... but I do have a few small rust spots and a messed up fender than they'll be fixing. and they have to sand the crap out of it to get through the primer that's been sitting for the last 6 years... hopefully it turns out well

my cars easily the newest car at the restoration shop by a few decades haha

pretty much anything that's old

The owner has a sprite. They've done everything from from a 60s aston martin, a replica shelby daytona coupe, to a VW beetle.

my rx-7 is currently next to a '65 mercury which has to be like 30 feet long haha

Hey what's up guys? Does anyone know someone in the area that welds cages/roll bars? I am trying to get one pretty soon so that I will pass tech when I take my car to summit point.

http://www.pipermotorsport.com/

They're pretty expensive from what I've heard though. No one makes a bolt in roll bar for the vert?

My buddy said that it would be best to have one custom made because no one chassis is the same. He said you will never get one that bolts directly in. So i just wanna do it right the first time and have one that looks good and functions well.

I helped my brother install a bolt in on his S2000 and didn't have any issues. when you're drilling the holes, it doesn't matter if your chassis is a little off

That being said, you'd probably would be better off getting one made at piper.

Call I/O Port racing and talk to them. I bought one for a vert from them back in the day.

They tabbed them to fit in the seatbelt mounting points up top and fit with the top closed.
