COMAR online
I've been wondering where I could find that stuff for a long time. Thanks to Tofuball, I finally knew what to google for. Et Voilą:
COMAR car stuff (See chapter 14 for inspections).
and COMAR search page.

"a label provided by the tinting material manufacturer ½ x 1-½ inches containing the manufacturer's name and the percentage of light transmittance is permanently installed in the top left corner of the windshield and the lower front corner of all side windows and the lower left of rear windows when viewed from the outside; the label is installed between the tinting and glazing materials; and the vehicle is equipped with an outside rearview mirror on each side."
No labels, no legal...
From (4)(i) on this page. the transmittance listed on that page is 35% minimum total including the glass.
some police have a nice little cheater card that they hold up to the back of the glass that tells them exactly what the tint is based on what shows thru. Ive never heard of having to have the rating listed on the tint.
So, I'm moving to someplace cheaper, preferably along Rt 29, but maybe even as far out as the boarder of PA (Hagerstown area). So if anyone wants to split a house w/ me, or rent from me, we can go house hunting :P

What was wrong with Berwyn Heights?
I was lookin at Oxon Hill before I bought my place in Hoodbridge. Only reason I didn't get it was because I was still working in Virginia at the time and didn't wanna deal with Wilson Bridge traffic.
I shoulda gotten that place though. Slightly more than my current pile, with a three car workshop and a ******* swimming pool... Although that house was slightly more ghetto and rundown as well.
Dude. Pee Gee County...

K, So what about the Berwyn/Greenbelt area? He used to live there and it wasn't so bad... Plus, I actually have a direct route there, so I can visit him more often... ****, I used to be up there so often, they were gonna start charging me rent.
let me put it this way. i dont trust anywhere in PG county. My dad lives in Upper Marlboro which i thought was a pretty safe area. he has 5 police cars (neighbors) within line of site of his driveway. my sister-in-laws car was broken into in the driveway and had her entire DVD collection stolen from the trunk as well as botched the wiring trying to hot wire it.
im actually looking at moving to northern anne arrundel county. most likely right next to arrundel mills.

Dude, a large part of PG is inside the beltway. Actually, living inside the beltway is cheeper, but a lot of the area is very nasty. Berwyn was inside the beltway.

You'd think that the police would have better things to do than write someone $600+ in tickets in one stop over the span of 45 minutes...
