Isn't this a sticky yet??

Anyone know where I can get two S5 upper radiator to thermostat housing? And if anyone knows where I can get After market ones that are made of METAL , that would be great! Thanks!

S4 ones were made of aluminium.

But they're not interchangeable, S4 ones used a 2 12mm bolt setup, S5 ones use a three 10mm bolt setup.

New, the one you want I think is $50 or $60 from Ray Crowe.

I've seen both plastic ones and aluminum ones. I would check the junkyard first, or call ray crowe and ask him for a aluminum one if you can't find one at the junkyard.

The aluminum one wont fit, as I explained . . . . unless you're saying you've seen an S5 aluminum one somewhere?

The plastic ones are the standard for S5.

The local junkyard has 1 FC in it, and it's only a chassis, and some random lame parts. Thanks anyway.

Why don't we use your two broken ones and make a mold and cast a new one?

Just how do you think I am gonna forge one outta mouton metal??? (In my townhouse) I mean sure that would be great, and I could probably sell a few, but 1st tell me how I am gonna heat metal up enough to melt it?

Dont have to make it out of metal

Id say we use a fiberglass-reinforced epoxy.

What about using a fiberglass to patch from the inside the seam that is faulty?

We could patch it, not with fiberglass though :O

BUt if it's already brittle and cracking from 20 years of heat cycling, why bother?

I agree. I'd rather get a new one from Ray, and coat the inside with something good to fortify this part.

The temps that part is exposed to should not exceed 210, and probably never exceeded 198.

here are pictures of my new wheels:

I like them a lot. I'm going to go put them on my car this weekend along with hopefully getting the wiring harness finished tonight and going and installing that.

sorry for the big pictures, I took them with my phone and didn't feel like resizing them...
