Pretty funny, I'm in the Rockville area and people have been thinking you're me. I thought I'd be the only white FD in the area. Cool to know there's another (Although mine is Alpine White).

That's a beautiful car!

I need to repaint my FD. The paint is peeling off the hood. Where do I go to get such a nice paint job?

I'm bottling homebrew! If you come down to PG County I'll give you a sixpack.

We still have some nice country roads in PG but the potholes are so bad they're almost impassable without a SUV.

Yep, them potholes stop me from driving as much as I could since I have my jeep. Just driving to do the tuning I was hitting so many.

Homebrew !

Wildmild - if that offer was for me, Thanks, and sorry I had already headed out early a.m. in opposite direction. Went to Frederick historic area then on to Harper's Ferry, 150 miles, quite a few at 80+, with almost no potholes and no law - 295, 32, 70, 15, 340 etc. Nice drive, always with a smile in rex. Bill

What were you bottling? I actually just made an all-grain batch of an Old Speckled Hen clone on Saturday. I tend to keg all my batches now, but I could see about bottling some of mine after they're carbonated if ya wanna trade some

I'm a bit of a nutter on my batches though, I try to always keep them in the 6.5-9% range

If you go south a bit into Charles County there are some nice secluded roads in the Port Tobacco area. I used to work down at Indian Head so I became familiar with a few of those back roads ^_^

That's funny I'm working in the Environmental Test group at Indian Head. I wonder if we met? There are some good brewers in Indian Head - Mike Hogue, Todd Ricks.

I just bottled an Ordinary Bitter. I bottled a Best Bitter in January. I'd love to swap.

I love driving from Indian Head to Dahlgren through Port Tobacco. There's that turn behind a bush on Chapel Point road where the road dives and turns right hard.

I left there in late summer of 2012, so if you were at Stump Neck before then we may have met and not known it

Nice! Great minds apparently think alike

I'll need to do a little "quality checking" on mine before I transfer it from the keg to bottles, make sure it's fit for sharing and all

So I re-racked that OSH clone this weekend and was shocked when I took a gravity reading!! OG was 1.068 @ 70f, it was down to 1.010 @ 67f!!! Freaking 7.9%!!! I figured it would go down to about 1.016-1.013 (7-7.5%) and hold for aging and kegging.

I've got a feeling this is a recipe that I'm going to be brewing often.. (PM me if you want the recipe, it's an all-grain with partial LME added at the end)

Spring Road Trip

Rocky will be posting, I feel sure, a DC Area Spring Road Trip - poll - thread to get votes on choice of 4 different days, i.e. to rate your preference from best to least favorite from 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays. Think he already mentioned on some thread that he's thinking would be April trip probably. If is like the Fall trip, my first, it will be out of Warrenton, specifically IHOP. Bill

I saw a CYM FD with what looked like a 99 spec front bumper driving past Ft. Meade this morning. Is that anybody here? I was in my cheap/pos beater, so it's not likely that the person driving the FD noticed anything as they drove past...

Yea, that is 30psi... Fuel pressure hits around 60psi at that time, and almost 90% duty cycle, although still have to richen it up more as I don't like that afr. This is also on stock fuel injectors(don't try this at home)
