as long as the pipes your putting them on have the flare things on the ends of them and you're not using crappy quality hose... you're fine

I just watched Transformers last night. Awesome job on the VA State Police cruiser as the Decepticon, Barricade... Anyone catch our highway patrol's motto on the side?

Finally got the car to hook in Joliet this weekend. Out of 6 passes (went out in second round, lost by .14 to a much faster car) the best ET was a 10.19, best mph was 133, best 60ft was 1.34 - definitely going in the right direction.

Found out why it had a bad (1.42) 60ft on the last pass that may have cost me the race. Out of the 8 bolts that hold the k-member in the car, the 4 on the passenger side were loose. Not so much loose, as "falling out" of the damn thing. It's no wonder I couldn't get the car to hook straight. It's damn lucky I didn't hit the wall.
Back to the chassis shop it goes, time for another alignment. I can say the first couple passes it hooked well (1.37, 1.35 60ft) so it's definitely got potential. I can't wait to put some adjustable front struts in there, I should really be able to transfer the weight then.

LAS Performance in Pennsylvania. Run by this guy, Billy Laskowsky:
Before I brought the car to him, I couldn't get the tires off the ground because the weight wouldn't transfer; the alignment was so jacked I couldn't let go of the wheel without pointing it at the wall.
My best 60' was a 1.39, and my FIRST pass after he aligned it was a 1.37, then a 1.35 on the next. He also built Ryan's entire chassis, and his cars definitely hooks and goes straight (a lot of times on the bumper)

Hi Theo,
You seem to be a authority on this subject. There is a mazda in my driveway that needs to go away. It doesn't have a title, and it's in the process of being stripped. Is it worthwhile to cut it into pieces for scrap metal? Can you help? Thanks.

Excellent, excellent. That pic of Ryans car is nice and straight when coming off the ground.
I want to go meet jeff at PSI. I'd like to just take him my ls1 and go over what I'm looking for out of the motor and let him build it. You up for it some time next week?

Maybe, but I'd recommend going there and just talking to him first. I don't know what his schedule looks like, so he may or may not have room to just leave it there, ya know?
