Did you replace the clutch master cyl?? What about the clutch release mechanism (I don't know what it's called in rx7's... the thing that the slave cyl pushes on...

Also, is the clutch play adjustable on the rx7? I know on my ae86... if you have too much clutch play, the clutch won't disengage because you're not pushing enough fluid from the master cyl to the slave....

Also, did you remember to bleed the clutch lines after you installed the slave cylinder?

Hellow fellas and laidies. Im judging interest in a Hagerstown MD meet.

We have quite a few beautiful roads up here that im sure people would enjoy driving and we love to BBQ and then drive the evening away.

I will see how many people are interested to see if its worth putting together.

grr... fighting the damn electical issues in my FD again. Its too humid out there. And my motor is apparently stuck at US Customs so I'm back to not knowing when it'll be here again.

Somebody find me a person thats good with the wiring in an FD.

I'm good at wiring in general, but I don't have a lot of spare time

Anyway. Do you plan on using the stock air temp sensor in your installs? If so, I gotta go find out the resistance curves of those so I can get the proper bias resistors and build you a proper firmware. Which means I'll have to order yet another part. Also, I was waiting for you to come check out the megasquirts before I modded them... would you rather I just modded them sooner (of course I'm going to have to wait on the bias resistors if you want to use the stock sensors, but that's not a problem for me if it's not a problem for you, and when I order from digi-key, I generally receive the parts in less than 3 days)??

I'll be able to do it Sunday night except for the bias resistors.... You can come over then if you're free... I'll also be available monday evening after 6:30 (new job just started, I go in later to this job so I get off later).

I KNOW there are some fast food restaurants within biking distance of you... I've been around that area... I'm sure they'd hire you (you do have at least 1 hand and 1/4th of a brain right? j/k).

I worked at fast food as my first couple jobs... And I rode a bike to and from them until I got my car... the trip was about 5 miles each way for both restaurants.

Where the hell is Hagerstown?

I've done laps around the beltway. (I was bored. Gas was 0.99 a gal, and I had a 36MPG Civic.) I've been out the major arteries, (270-The Garage/Farm, 95N-Baltimore, 50-Annapolis)

I've heard of it, but never seen it or even a sign indicating it's existance.

Its not off of the beltway, it off 81 north from 70/270 north. About at the border for MD and PA.

OH ****! Now that you mention it. I have seen a sign that indicates it's existance...

I goto Phantom Fireworks occasionally.

And I ditched a car halfway on a road trip to Ohio once on the Penn Tnpk... I think 81 was involved, I know 70 was.

Hrmm, if this is true... I won't need to change the resistors after all... That's the same resistance curve as the stock FC coolant temperature sensors... Are you sure that you didn't accidentally look at the specs on the coolant sensors?? When you come, could you bring an ignitor with you? I need to check the input resistance for the various IGt signals.

I should be home tomorrow by 3PM if that's ok with you. The place will be at my house. I'll be organizing my workbench (it's a bit messy right now) then building your vr sensor conditioner circuits... and adding pullups (based on the measurements from your ignitor if you bring it... otherwise I'll use the same values as on the FC).

I'll PM you my phone number so you can confirm time and I can give you directions.

Can MS work multiple ingintion modules? aka single ingnition for each spark plug? kinda like the new v8's with a coil on every cylinder.

Nah, right now it supports wasted spark only.. although it wouldn't be that hard to add Coil-on-Plug for a 4 cylinder.

It'll also work with rotary leading and trailing soon (instead of just leading).

There just aren't enough pins on the megasquirt CPU to do more than 4 outputs (4 cyl COP or 8 cyl wasted spark).

I think once they get CAN bus with the router board thats being designed working on MS2... we'll be able to do things like sequential injection and COP for as many outputs as you want. That probably won't happen for like a year though... so if you want to do something now, don't wait.

I PMed you my address... just call to let me know if you're going to come... I'm not going to be online again today most likely till pretty late (if at all).

EDIT: Oh yeah, and bring an FD ignitor if you can... so I can make sure I put in the right pullup resistors.

Most people go for the Eibach springs with the KYB AGX shocks around here.

I havent tried it personally.
