Exclamation Maryland FD owners, I need assistance!!!

Hey guys, I know Im new and all, but I have simple favor of sorts to ask.

Im working on a custom brake setup using FD RX7 rear brake components and Im in the process of collecting some used parts to keep mock up cost down.

WHAT I NEED are rear OEM sized rotors...they can be in any sort of used condition as long as there is some sort thickness left. I'm willing to pay or if you're feeling kind enough I may only need to borrow them for a short period of time.

If this idea works, I will be buying a nicer set of rotors.

I live in the harford county area and Im willing to drive a couple hours to pick these up, so please let me know. Im new to the forum because I signed up for researching purposes only, so I can not respond to PMs or search out emails, so please if you can help email your responses to lester.hitch@gmail.com or post here and I will check back frequently.

Thanks a bunch guys and excuse the run-ons!

-Lester

You live in bel air and have an FD? Would it happen to be silver, with 99 spec(or close) wheels?

no i dont have an FD, I have a 240SX that I'm looking to put FD rear brakes on...its something that hasn't been done before so I'm exploring new grounds.

if it works it would be a fairly affordable alternative to using 300ZX rear brakes which is common but not exactly straight forward because it completely changes the rear e-brake assembly...its one of those, "its simple, but it not" kind of deals.

I'm hoping that with the FD rears all I would need to do is machine a caliper adapter bracket and at worst maybe have to run a spacer.

did you find any spare rotors in that shed of yours?

just to let you guys know I've recieved some PMs, but I still can't reply to them yet, so if its no problem please keep the comments in here for now.

I've had a few people offer me measurements, if thats whats easiest for you then I would like the following measurements:

1. thickness of rotor you're using (stock is 20mm)
2. distance from wheel mounting face to outside rotor face
3. distance from hub mounting face to inside rotor face

millimeter measurements would be nice but i guess inches within .001 would suffice as well, should be easy if you know how to read a set of calipers.
