PA Looking for a rotary shop in northeast PA or close.

I have a Turbo II powered Lotus 7 replica and I’m looking to do some upgrades over the winter. Are there any reputable rotary shops/tuners in the PA/NY/NJ area who you guys would recommend?

Here is a link to my introduction and some pix of the car. https://www.rx7club.com/old-school-o.../#post12304092

Many people in your region have had success with IR Performance (myself included), the only difficulty with them would be the timeline depending on what you're looking to do.

Thats correct about Speed 1. That’s a shame too, but sadly it’s been coming for awhile now.

I’ve heard good things about JPR Imports (https://www.jprimports.com/) and I think at some point I’d like to check them out.

I agree JPR is going to be your best bet. Talk to Jim. He's very knowledgeable, personable, and takes his time to explain everything.

Bit of an old thread, but what happened to Speed 1? Nothing is up anymore and I didn't see their Facebook page. Sucks, I had my RX-7 over there a couple years ago and everything went smooth, needed my windshield replaced so would rather take it somewhere that knows what the cars are so they're more careful.

As far as I know they began focusing more and more on the body shop aspect until they stopped working on cars altogether. I have a good glass guy I call in to my shop. Done a bunch of windshields here.

Pretty simple - Dave left Speed 1 at some point.

Dave is out of the business due to health issues. But the main techs are still around the area working on rotaries. Lmk if you need help. They still do my car.

I have an RX8 and a 10ae rx7 that both need work, and I am looking for a local technician that I can use to get them back on the road. I live in the Lehigh Valley area and I would appreciate a recommendation ….even if it’s someone you know who’s a good mechanic that doesn’t have a garage…. I have a nice garage and a lot of tools I just don’t have some of the experience with rotaries or the time recently
