Looking for a 'friendly' inspection shop in Mass.
Looking for a 'friendly' inspection shop in Mass.
Is there any such thing as a 'friendly' Massachusetts state inspection shop anymore?
If so, send me their info.
I've been getting my car inspected in this state for the past 10 years and today, the idiot mechanic/inspector/whatever guy says:
1. My front lights are not DOT approved, so it fails
2. The exhaust should be totally invisible-no visible smoke whatsoever, so it fails
3. He even said-there was too much stuff in the rear seat, so couldn't check the rear seatbelts so it fails.
I explained to him:
1. The lights are in an aftermarket (fc2000) front-end. It's a 30 year old car-I can't exactly go to the Mazda dealership and order a front end.
2. It's a rotary. It burns oil by design. It's gonna smoke a little.
3. What?!? Move the items off the seat and do the check.
I'm so sick of this stupid bougie state.
Anyone know of a 32 yr old rotary friendly inspection shop?
