Looking For Rotary Shop in VA

I just recently bought a used FC and I was looking for a shop that had experience with Rotaries to check it out. I live in Northern Virginia so I'd prefer one up around here. If anyone knows of any I'd appreciate it a lot.

I think RP is in Manassas? You probably wont find anything else.

In addition to RP, Malloy Mazda is one of the very few dealerships that can be trusted with RX-7's. http://mazda.malloyautomall.com/

Ray Crowe is the parts manager and he knows his ****, especially with FD's.

Also, Peter Farrell Supercars (PFS) is in Maryland now and run by Ray Wilson who is very knowledgable with RX-7's. http://www.pfsupercars.com/

despite being called northern virginia, maryland's still quite a bit off away, well hell mannassas is quite a bit away. But RP works, decent pricing. they'll charge for some inspection though.

Don't go to PFS for a inspection of an FC. You will be waiting a LONG time.

I'd recommend RP as well.

I've never heard Ray testify for the service department at Malloy. That's not to say anything bad about them, but Ray being the Parts Manager has absolutely no relation to the competence - or lack thereof - of their service staff when it comes to FDs. So I'd be careful w/ that assumption, as I have yet to see anything pointing toward it.

RP's prices are crazy low for a well known performance shop, great work too. Just sucks when they tell you to drop your car off for like 3 days so they can start on it...when its your daily driver anyway lol.

While Ray is the best for miles around when doing 3rd gens, he doesn't do many second gens. Mine is the only one that I know of, and that's only because PFS did the conversion.

Mr. Samuels, you're correct. Other than your FC, Ray told me he's never worked on any FCs or FBs.
