If you come up with a few thousand more you'll eliminate alot of headaches. When you buy a FD cheap, you'll usually need to have ALOT of money to put into it.

I can attest to that. I bought mine as a shell for $3500 and I'm now at about $24k ... and I still don't drive the car yet because I still have a few things missing.

Well it's not like you did the "normal" things to fix up your car now is it ;p

Exclamation

I have a friend selling his 93 Vintage Red FD. The motor is a fresh reman with about 2k miles on it, and it was just repainted literally 3 weeks ago. Interior looks good just normal wear on the drivers seat. The car is fairly stock with the exceptions of a downpipe and boost gauge on the pillar. It is located in Pt. Pleasant, NJ, and if your interested PM me and ill get you in touch with him, and you could go check out the car if your interested, by the way i think hes only asking around 13k for it too, which in my opinion is a deal.
