Looking for basic mechanic north of Philedelphia

I just purchased a new 3rd gen and I need to get it inspected and have some other minor service done. I'm about 40 miles north of Philadelphia. I know KDR is the place to go for performance, but I'm just looking for a local general shop that has some experience rotaries. KDR is a bit of a hike for that kind of work, and I'm worried that the local dealer won't know what to do with a modified car.

I'm close enough to get to central NJ, but since I need a state inspection, I can only use PA shops.

Can any share experience about shops in the area?

Thanks.

That's my plan, but I wanted to get it inspected locally so I don't have to drive it up there without an inspection. Does Dave do state inspections?

I guess I could bring it to the local garage just to get it inspected, but that scares me.

Where are you located?

Do you think it'll pass inspection?

I have this same problem, my inspection is up in August. I'm looking for a place that I could trust to drop it off and not have to worry that they are out beating on my car. I took my FD last year to Dave when I bought it to have him look it over and he didn't do inspections then. I'll probably see you around since you are only about 20 minutes from me. What color is your FD?

I'm in Doylestown, about 30 miles north of Philly.

I believe the car will pass inspection... no reason to think otherwise, it just needs to get done so I get the registration completed, etc.

Good to find another owner in Horsham. I worked in Horsham for several years, so I know the area well. I was hoping to find someone like you on here who would have an answer to all my questions, but I guess that's not going to happen. I'll keep looking though.

My FD is red. It has a black front lip and rockers, California sunroof, and Volk wheels. No spoiler, though that may change. How about yours? There aren't that many around our area anymore.

There is a place I want to check out they deal mostly with domestics, corvettes, etc., but it is on Horsham road behind Tonelli's next to Better Built Bikes. I know they can do OBD1 testing. If you find a good place definitely let me know.

My FD is white and is pretty much stock except for an rb single exhaust and dp. I don't drive it to much (Garage Queen, lol). There are several FD's around this area, which is surprising. I'm not sure if they live around here but I see them alot.

There is another thread trying to get a meet together. You should try to make it out, it’s always nice to meet fellow FD owners.
