There's an event coming up this weekend at Etown. Weather looks like it's going to be good. I emailed them to make sure and we are allowed to run the ET Street or any DOT approved tire.

STREET WARS CLASSES: (D.O.T. APPROVED THREADED RADIAL TIRES ONLY)

SS - Street Stock – 15.00 and slower

ST - Street Tuner – 14.00 – 14.99

SM - Street Modified – 13.00 – 13.99

SO - Street Outlaw – 12.99 and Quicker

If you are unsure of which class you will fit into, simply enter SS and make a time trial. If you find you need to change to another category, return to tech inspection and have the official change your class. In eliminations Imports & Domestics are paired until one runs out. Your class designation will start with either “D” for Domestic or “I” for Import. For example a Domestic in Street Tuner will be labeled “D - ST” followed by number.

I dont have DOT tires only my M&H slicks anyone have DOT setup I can buy or borrow. Last time they only let me run time only.

Most likely, I might of broken an axel I'm going to double check tomorow. Car moves to freely in neutral. Who knows, I'll know tomorow. I'm trying to get there!

At least you broke it testing for the event! I think you broke the cup, the end of the axle. Either way stick with the plan of fixing tomorrow and get it ready for Sunday!

I dont think ill be going. All my friends backed out. Well all but 1 but its gay going just him and I.

 

Well guys, after working 3 days non-stop trying to get ready for this event. Having all types of last minute problems, from breaking axels, boost leaks, re-wiring alot of ****. The 13yr old 3pc seal 13b-rew gave out tonight while street tuning. After feeling so good on so many highway pulls the little engine that could finally gave up. The entire drive home while trying to not let it die completely at a red light, all I was thinking was "Please be the map sensor, please be the map sensor"! Well, it wasn't the map sensor. Motor finally gave up on me after tons of beating up, learning, tuning and many many miles. Can't complain to much this motors been thru hell with me. I really can't tell how much boost went thru the motor, all I know it that she felt GREAT! Especially with the MT ET Streets in the rear. Traffic on the highway caught me off guard and I lost concentration on the wideband and boost guages while driving. By the time I lifted for the traffic, I felt her ubruptly take her last healthy breathe. Surprisingly i'm not upset I actually laughed with Anthony on the phone. Sometimes things aren't ment to happen, and good things come to those who wait. I'll be back stronger then ever!!!

Rebuild and conquer i'll be ready soon!!!

Hey Jay sorry, hear that see u next time. Big thanks to Mike for lme to borrow his extra helmet. I have seen some nice old school still quick. I wish I could to have sticking around a little longer to meet the rest of the guys, but I starting to have issues with my coolant light keep come on.

Awsome to meet everyone up in Jersey today. Anthony and I went ***** to the walls. The air was perfect. We both ran 8.90@160mph! Ask anyone!

 

Oh, btw to all the doubters, I fixed my car today!
